Scouse, with its quick repartee and colourful choice of words, reflects the character of its speakers far more accurately than any other dialect of the British Isles.
No other British dialect is so well known, both nationwide and overseas, owing to a unique combination of events over the past 50 years.
This book provides a guide to the phrases and words that have evolved over the years to make up the unique Scouse dialect.
