Description
When Turner dies in December only a fraction of his life's work had been seen by his contemporaries. Piled up in boxes in his studio, and hiding on shelves above unfinished canvases, were around three hundred sketchbooks charting his life and travels. The contents of these books amounted to thousands of pages of sketches, generally in pencil, but occasionally worked with bursts of extravagant colour.
Nominated for the William MB Berger Prize for British Art History 2014-15, this volume boasts a rich selection of sketches that appear together for the first time.

We use Royal Mail's airmail service to post overseas. This can take from 1 to 4 weeks and costs from £15.00 in Europe and from £22.00 for the rest of the world depending on the weight of the parcel. Please be aware there may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. National Museums Liverpool are not responsible for paying these charges and they are not included in your payment to us. We will send your parcel with tracking where possible.

Returns
If you are not totally satisfied with your order, please return it to us. Goods must be returned in the same condition you received them within 45 days of receiving the order. We will issue a refund or replacement at your request subject to certain conditions being met.
